Hi we will be visiting Disney as a family of 6. Mum, Dad, 2 Sons, Uncle & Cousin. One of my sons will be applying for a DAS pass. If the DAS pass is granted will all 6 of us be able to be included on the pass. Many thanks for your assistance.

    Hey there, Marlene!

I'm absolutely delighted to welcome you to planDisney! It won't be long now until you're Walt Disney World vacation begins! Soon you will be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A., getting that first glimpse of Cinderella Castle. Get ready to indulge in all those Mickey-shaped snacks, capture unforgettable memories, and feel the magic come to life around every corner.

Disability Access Service (DAS) is a program designed to support Guests who, due to a developmental disability, have difficulty waiting in a traditional standby line for long periods. Once you've arrived in the United States, you can begin the registration process either through the Walt Disney World website or your My Disney Experience app

As part of the process, you'll have a live video chat with a Cast Member who will talk with you to better understand your child's specific needs and determine the most helpful accommodations. Before you start the chat, be sure that everyone in your travel group is connected through the Family & Friends List in your My Disney Experience account.

The DAS registration typically covers the registered Guest and up to three additional party members (so, a total of four people). However, the Cast Member can add more people to the list, and you'll be able to decide which three will ride with the DAS Guest at each attraction, giving you the flexibility to switch it up throughout your day.

Marlene, you're headed to Walt Disney World during one of my favorite times of the year...Halloween season! You're in for such a treat. The parks and resorts will be all decked out with fun and (not-so) spooky decorations. If you're looking to add even more magic to your trip, I highly recommend checking out Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom. This separate ticketed event is filled with trick-or-treating, rare character meet-and-greets, a spellbinding stage show, the Boo-To-You parade, and even a Halloween-themed fireworks spectacular! Just be sure to grab your tickets in advance – this event is super popular and tends to sell out quickly.

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney, Marlene! If any other questions pop up throughout your planning, please feel free to come back again!

    Magic Awaits,
