Visiting Disney at the end of this month with our 3 boys (4, 6, 9). What character meals and sit down reservation places suggested for boys? We are not huge planners and are overwhelmed with sit down dining options. Help on narrowing down to great options.

Thanks for the question, Kristen! I know you are getting super excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! I also have three boys around the same age as yours and their favorite Character Dining Experiences are Chef Mickey's, located in Disney's Contemporary Resort, and 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast, located at Disney's Polynesian Resort.Chef Mickey's is open for breakfast and dinner and is an all-you-care-to-eat buffet restaurant. You can expect to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck at this popular restaurant. Every hour or so, the characters lead the guests in a celebration by having guests swing their napkins in the air to the song, "Celebrate." Join Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch for 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast! The fabulous food is served family-style and includes Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs, Island-style fried potatoes, Hawaiian pork sausages, smoked bacon, fresh fruit, and Hawaiian bread. 'Ohana, at the Polynesian Resort, just happens to be our favorite table-service restaurant for dinner as well. This festive restaurant features a Polynesian-inspired menu and is an all-you-care-to-eat dining location. Adding to the island ambiance are tikis, live entertainment, and coconut races, in which children sweep coconuts with brooms across the hardwood floor.Whispering Canyon Café, located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, serves up barbecue, steak, fish and more in this Old-West themed restaurant. In this rowdy, family-style restaurant, your boys will get a kick out of the stick pony rides and fun "antics" the servers get the crowd involved in.T-REX Café and Rainforest Café are two other family favorites offering life-size animatronics in themed settings. You will want to go ahead and make advanced dining reservations by calling (407)WDW-DINE or by going online. I am out of room, but please write back if I can offer any additional suggestions for you. Best wishes for a Magically Delicious Trip!
    Bon Appétit,
