We will be visiting Disney in August with my Star Wars-obsessed son, who will be a few months shy of 4 years old. I'm wondering if we have any chance of signing him up for the Jedi Training Academy or if the 4-12 yr old age limit is very strict. Thanks!

    Hi Sara,

Your trip is so close! I hope that you are prepared to have fun at the Walt Disney World Resorts!

This is one of the rare times I will tell you to "upgrade" your son to four. Since his safety is not an issue, I think in this case you can promote him to four. If you were trying to "stretch" him onto a ride that he is not tall enough, I would say no way.

Remember to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios early and you may want to go on a day when there are no Extra Magic Hours. It tends to be less crowded.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
