    We will be visiting December 17-23. What extra special Christmas activities will there be? Is there a parade and fireworks during that time?

    Hi Julia! 

    You are going to have an amazing time at Walt Disney World over the holidays. Christmastime is my favorite time to visit the parks. I highly suggest buying tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Magic Kingdom will close to all guests, except for those with tickets to this special event, and you can enjoy cookies and hot cocoa, snow on Main Street, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and a holiday viewing of fireworks. 

    At Epcot you can enjoy the storytellers around the world. Don't miss the Candlelight Processional where you can hear a narrator tell the story of Christmas and listen to a 50-piece orchestra and choir.

    You can also explore all of the Disney parks and resorts and view their specially decorated Christmas trees. There is also a life-sized gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa where they sell treats.

    You will absolutely love this magical time of year!
