Ho ho ho, Katrina! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh, Katrina, nothing puts me in the holiday spirit like talking about Christmastime at Walt Disney World Resort. I can practically hear the toy soldiers marching down Main Street, U.S.A., accompanied by the
Main Street Philharmonic, of course.
Katrina, in years past, it usually only snowed on Main Street, U.S.A. during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, although I have heard of a few lucky guests getting a dusting on other evenings as well. Additionally, the past several years you were able to see snow on Sunset Boulevard in Disney's Hollywood Studios while some amazing holiday projections were broadcast on
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
Katrina, we will have to wait a little bit to know if a snow shower is heading back to Walt Disney World Resort this year, so to make sure that your family has a white Christmas, you can visit Anna and Elsa, for the spectacular
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. If you are heading to Disney Springs, a little elf has told me that you may see some snow in Town Center.
Katrina, even if you are not lucky enough to see the rare sight of snow in Florida on this trip, you will still have plenty of
holiday festivities to enjoy. Character cavalcades will be all dolled up with reindeer and elves and the characters in their holiday best. Holiday decor, nighttime projections, and special food and beverage offerings will be aplenty throughout all four theme parks and Disney Springs. Keep your eyes peeled for the head elf himself, and you may just get to make your Christmas wish.
Have a holly jolly good time, Katrina. Please come back here if we can help you plan your fabulous festive holiday vacation.
