Hi we are visiting 4/11-4/18 for my daughters 7th birthday and staying at the animal kingdom lodge-any special things we should look for there-it's our first time there and where's the best places to find Ariel-Syd's favorite Princess. Thank you!!

Hi, Denise!  Happy birthday to your little princess!  What a great place to spend a birthday!

The best place to meet Ariel is at Ariel's Grotto in the Magic Kingdom.  She appears there a few times each day, and you can have your photo taken and get an autograph.  The setting there is really adorable, and the photos taken here are usually so cute!

There is always something going on at Animal Kingdom Lodge!  It's one of our absolute favorite Walt Disney World resorts!  Check at the front desk when you arrive for a list of any special activities.  We have participated in things in the past like viewing the animals through night vision goggles, flamingo feedings, craft projects, and more.  There is also a nightly story telling around a fire pit, which my recently turned eight year old daughter has always enjoyed.  If the weather is bad, they do the storytelling inside, but if you can do an outside one, it's wonderful.

Have a magical trip, Denise, and I hope Syd's birthday is sprinkled with bunches of pixie dust!
