If I am visiting the Coronado Springs resort to dine and shop is parking free at the resort

Hi Dyshell, and welcome to planDisney. I love visiting all of the Disney Resort hotels and checking out the different stores, restaurants, and lounges, so I’d be happy to help you navigate the parking and transportation situation!

If you have a dining reservation at the table service restaurant Toledo, you’ll be able to park at Coronado Springs with complimentary standard self-parking. However, if you were looking to visit Panchito’s Gifts and Sundries or the other eateries that don’t have dining reservations, like Three Bridges Bar and Grill, you’ll likely need to find a different way to get to Coronado Springs.

Parking at Disney Resort hotels is generally intended for overnight guests and visitors with a dining reservation. Other guests are welcome to park at Disney Springs or one of the theme parks (depending on how late you plan to be visiting) and take Disney bus transportation over to Coronado Springs. Using a ride share service might be another option, but in my experience, sometimes drop off will also be limited to overnight guests and visitors with dining reservations as well.

I hope you’re able to spend some time at Coronado Springs because this Moderate Resort Hotel feels more like a Deluxe! Last year, I enjoyed an amazing dinner at Toledo. This restaurant is absolutely beautiful with a color-changing ceiling that's like its own art installation. The delicious artisanal charcuterie spread and bone-in rib-eye are some of my favorite dishes here.

If you’re looking to spend a relaxing afternoon at Coronado Springs, there’s also the Spanish Mosaic Art activity, which currently runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. While many resort hotels offer a mosaic art craft, this is the only one that you can sign up for in advance on the Disney World website. I did a similar activity at the Contemporary Resort and had a lot of fun making my own Disney-themed souvenir that’s now displayed in my kitchen!

I’m wishing you a magical visit to Coronado Springs tomorrow. And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome at planDisney!
