We will be visiting at Christmas time. Is there anything special that happens only on the 25th, versus other nights during Christmas week?

    Hi there, Andrea!

My favorite time to visit Walt Disney World is during Christmas. My family and I go each year.

The best thing about Christmas at Walt Disney World is that it's a whole season. You won't be missing out on something if you can't go Christmas day. All of the special holiday events take place throughout the holiday season.

My favorite thing to do is the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. You can meet the holiday icons from around the world, like Father Christmas in the United Kingdom or Pere Noel in France. Purchase seasonal bites from around the globe at the holiday kitchens throughout the World Showcase. But the most wonderful thing of all is the Candlelight Processional. I urge anyone to do the dining package to guarantee a seat for this beautiful retelling of the classic story of the Nativity. Oh, I get all misty eyed!

The Magic Kingdom has Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on select dates throughout the season, but even after the party, you'll see the holiday themed parade and fireworks kick in. Disney's Hollywood Studios features Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! the whole season.

Enjoy every minute of holiday splendor, Andrea!
