Hello! Visiting 12/2016. With all of the changes at HS is it still worth a visit, or would it be best to skip this time and see after the new areas have opened? If so half day or full day? We have been there several times in the last few years. Thanks!

    Hello Kelianne!

How exciting to be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in December! Having just returned home from Walt Disney World myself, I would love to assist you with this question.  Although there have been several changes at Disney's Hollywood Studios recently, my family decided to visit again even though we usually do each trip.

If you have any Star Wars fans in your family, I would definitely recommend that you plan at least a half day in the park in order to experience Star Wars Launch Bay.  My family spent at least an hour exploring Star Wars Launch Bay and loved getting to meet Kylo Ren and later watching Symphony in the Stars: A Galactic Spectacular that evening. We ended up spending approximately 6 hours at Disney's Hollywood Studios on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the park. That being said, my family loves to experience thrill attractions, and we always have a hard time skipping Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith or The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

I hope this information is helpful in making the best decision for your family. Please don't hesitate to reach out again with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical and merry trip, Kelianne!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
