Aloha Courtney!
Gorgeous sunsets and warm tropical breezes await you at
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, in Ko Olina, Hawai’i! We were lucky enough to be able to make our second visit to this amazing resort just a few months ago, and I am already planning a return trip in a few years. There is
so much to do just at the resort itself. We spent several days just enjoying the pools, hot tubs, waterslides, lazy river, and beach access. But
the island of Oahu has so much to offer, I recommend leaving time in your schedule to explore other areas of the island.
All Guests staying in villas may utilize Disney’s grocery delivery service. You’ll want to fill out the
Grocery Order Form and then fax or mail it to the resort. There is a delivery fee, but if you are just needing a few basic items like cereal and milk, snacks, or sandwich fixings, this service is easy and convenient.
If you have a
1 or 2 Bedroom Villa with a full kitchen and plan to make a variety of larger meals, in my opinion, the resort grocery delivery is rather limited. For example, there are no fresh vegetables, fruits, or meats available. Since we had a rental car, we did our own shopping. There is a Walmart, Target, and Costco about 10 minutes away. You could also consider taking a rideshare service back and forth to the grocery store if you won’t have a rental car. Alternately, you could consider delivery options such as Amazon, Instacart, or Shipt. For small items in the middle of the trip that you may have forgotten, there are basics at Kalepa's Store (the gift shop off the lobby), and there is an Island Garden Market which is an upscale ABC Store located across the street. ABC Stores are found throughout the islands and while they traditionally sell souvenirs and beach gear, the Island Garden Market has an expanded selection of food and to-go items.
I hope this helps with your planning, Courtney, and mahalo (thank you) for stopping by planDisney with your question!
