We will be visiting in august and it will just be me and my 18yr old daughter we were thinking of booking character dining, can u recommend any in particular for us? will we still get a great experience without young Kids? will characters still visit us?

Hi Rosie! Mickey Mouse does not discriminate based on age! The characters know that we're all kids at heart, and they happily interact with adults and children alike. If you and your daughter dine at a character meal, the characters will definitely stop by your table and pose for photos. Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary is always a fun character meal that I enjoy. The breakfast buffet has lots of tasty items and the location is convenient to the Magic Kingdom. You'll be able to meet Mickey, Minnie, and other characters like Pluto, Goofy, and Donald Duck there.

The breakfast or dinner buffets at 1900 Park Fare can be a fun character meal for adults since you can joke around with the face characters. At the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast, you can chat with Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland and the funny Mad Hatter. During Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner, you can flirt with Prince Charming and be amused at the stepsister's hilarious antics. The food at 1900 Park Fare is a little more upscale than many other character meals, which makes it a great pick for adults. If you dine there for dinner, you can also spend some time in the Grand Floridian lobby enjoying the orchestra.

Wishing you a magical mother-daughter vacation this August! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
