Hi! We're visiting in August the week before my DDs turn 3 and 13. First visit for the 3 yo. Is the Frozen makeover worth losing park time to do? We'll have 4 full days at the park. Will there still be Frozen activities in the park? I saw it ends in May.

    Hi Tara,

‘The sky is awake, so I’m awake, so it’s time to…’ start planning your vacation at The Happiest Place on Earth!

We are a Frozen obsessed family. I love how the parks have incorporated the wintry movie throughout the Disneyland Resort. Be sure to go on Storybook Land Canal Boats in Fantasyland and look for the miniature version of Arendelle-it is gorgeous!

Both of our kids participated in Frozen-inspired makeovers at Anna & Elsa’s Boutique last October. Actually all of us were so eager to attend this royal occasion that we didn’t feel like  we were missing out on park time. During the magical transformation, the Crystalizers, who perform the makeovers, were so captivating by asking the kids Frozen-themed questions or telling Olaf-like jokes. It really went by quick but was so memorable. I can’t wait for our family to go back. So yes, reserve your children for their wintry transformations!

As far as FROZEN FUN at Disney California Adventure, right now the Disneyland Resort has announced it will end in May. So it’s hard to say what will be available to experience during your vacation in August, I wish I had a firm answer on that. However, I always keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates and exciting news.

I hope you find this helpful and that you have a magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth. Please reach out again if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!

Wishing you magic on your ‘royal pursuit’!
