I will be visiting Aug 22-26th with my niece and we can't wait! We are using ME and our return flight out is at 8:00 am. Will we really have to get on a ME bus at 5:00 am or are they not as busy that early in the morning? Thanks for your help!

Wow I am with you, that is early.  However, ME does like to have you leave three hours before your flight which means you are probably right in predicting a 5 AM send off.  What I would do is check with the ME counter the day before your departure to see if crowds might possibly be light and is there any way you could possibly catch the 5:30 shuttle.  This may or may not be possible, but it certainly never hurts to ask.
Thanks a lot for the question and I hope you have a magical WDW vacation.
