We will be visiting April 5-12, 2008. We will be traveling with 2 Kids (daughter is 5 and son 18 months), along with 2 Grandparents. We would like to visit one of the water parks. Can you recommend which would be best for the kids? Thank you!

    Hi Kerri,

I would recommend either park but I love Blizzard Beach for the little tikes.  Tikes Peak will be great for both of your children.  Your princess might want to venture over to Ski Patrol Training for a little more adventure.  My girls love the floating icebergs.  You also can watch people come down Summit Plummet.

When you enter, you want to find a spot to make home base.  I recommend in Tikes Peak or by the wave pool.  You can bring towels from the pool at your resort, and if you are on the Disney Dining Plan you will have no problem eating lunch or snacks in the park.  They also offer a refillable mug which is great to use if you are not on the dining plan.

Finally, if you want to go to the Teamboat Springs family ride (a must for our family), ride the lift chairs once but walk the stairs.  Though they are a hike, it will save you a considerable amount of time.

I find the life guards are attentive and friendly.  It is a great place to start your day and it will fill up early.

    Enjoy your vacation.
