    We will be visiting in April and have a reservation at 6:30 at chef Mickeys. How long will it take to get there from Magic Kingdom and how long should we plan on being there? Thanks

    Hi Melissa,

    Your trip is so close!

    The quickest way to Chef Mickey's is to walk to the Contemporary Resort. This is about a leisurely ten minute walk. Then up the elevators to Chef Mickey's and enjoy the fun!

    You can also take the monorail which is a two minute ride and you are right there. I would leave the Magic Kingdom at 6 for your reservation no matter which mode of transportation you plan on taking.

    I always budget between 60-90 minutes for a character meal once they call my name. This allows me time to eat as well as capture pictures with all of the characters.

    You can walk back or take the monorail all the way around loop!
