    We will be visiting Animal Kingdom sometime between March 14th and March 18th, will Lucky the Dinosaur be at Animal Kingdom any of those days?

    For those of you wondering, Lucky is the first fully mobile audioanimatronic creature. He walks and talks and interacts with guests, and he's pretty cute too :-) 

    I had the good fortune to meet Lucky at the World Science Festival in New York City in 2008 as park of a presentation on the science of Disney imagineering.

    Lucky did make his home at the Animal Kingdom for a few months, but he started out at Disney's California Adventure and is now making his way around the world to visit other Disney parks and events. There are no plans to bring him back to Florida. So, unfortunately, he will not be available to visit during your trip.

    So sorry.
