Hi! We will be visiting AK and have ADR at Jiko 5.30 that day. Can non-resort guests take the bus from AK to AKL and how long should we allow for this journey? Will we be able to look around AKL and go to the animal viewing areas? Thanks!

Hi Rebecca! What a fun day you've planned! You're welcome to ride the Disney bus from the Animal Kingdom park to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for your dinner reservation at Jiko. (Great restaurant choice, by the way -- the food there is so delicious!) The bus ride takes about 15 minutes (or less), but you may have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for a bus to arrive.

You'll definitely want to spend some time before or after dinner exploring the beautiful Animal Kingdom Lodge resort and looking at the animals on the savannas. Be sure to check out the Arusha Savanna behind the lobby -- if it's dark, you can use night vision goggles to spot the animals!

Have a wonderful time! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
