Hi. We visitied WDW for our son's 10th birthday and are now returning to celebrate his 21st. ( have visited in-between). We are staying at the French Quarter, same as last birthday. What can we do special for a 21 yr old? Thanks

Hi, Ross!  I absolutely love it that you are taking your son for his 21st birthday!  My oldest daughter is trying to plan her 21st now, and she's got a bunch of ideas!

The very first thing that came to mind is Jellyrolls.  Exclusively for guests ages 21 and over (I get goose bumps thinking that my daughter will be old enough to go!), this dueling piano bar features sing-a-longs, dancing and laughs all night long!  You can request your favorite song, and listen to the piano maestros play everything from Top 40 to the most obscure!

If dancing is his thing, you can check out another Boardwalk resort area favorite for the over 21 crowd - Atlantic Dance Hall.  You can "shake it, don't break it" to a cool band or awesome DJ at this art deco dance club.  Playing the top hits of the 80s, 90s and today, he can spend his birthday dancing the night away.

How about something off the beaten path - like a Wild Africa Trek?  Venture deep into the Pangani Forest as you experience African nature and wildlife up close and personal.  You'll have breathtaking views, once in a lifetime experiences, and a photographer that captures the whole thing for you so he'll have photos to treasure.  Learn more about Wild Africa Trek.

With Dad as a chaperone, you might take a drinking tour around the World Showcase.  He can still experience some of the amazing international wines and beers, but with you there, he can't over indulge.  A lesser known turning 21 ritual is a monorail loop, with a cocktail at the monorail resort hotels - the Grand Floridian, the Contemporary, and the Grand Floridian.  You have a built in designated driver this way!

I wish your son a wonderful, memorable, magical 21st birthday!
