While I have visited WDW many times, I will be staying at Saratoga Springs Resort for the first time when I visit this June with me 3 year old. What are some tips for ways to enjoy our arrival and departure days at the resort.

    ChEARs Jessica!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is one of my family's favorite and most frequented Resorts! We love the wide-open spaces and fantastic amenities, but most of all, we love the proximity to Disney Springs! A quick walk across a bridge puts you smack in the middle of the action.

Since you have a little one and are visiting in the summer, I think a great place to start is the pool! Pack swimming clothes (don't forget sunscreen and a baggie for after they are wet!) in your carry-on, and explore your options. The two feature pools at the Resort (The Paddock Pool and High Rock Spring Pool) have fantastic splash play areas. The Donald Duck play area accompanied by its miniature slide is a hit with my littles! There are also three leisure pools - at the Treehouse Villas, Congress Park, and The Grandstand. The last two have playgrounds, which was going to be my next suggestion! My kiddos have spent hours swinging and sliding and meeting new friends at the Resort.

When you all are ready to eat and shop, head to Disney Springs! We make an evening of the Food Trucks and a stop at World of Disney and the LEGO Store. The LEGO Store has a place where your little one can create their own legos, and they can even participate in LEGO Matchbox Derbys! Before you head back to the Resort, stop at AristoCrepes. Their S' mores Crepe is divine!

Finally, for a bit of relaxation, consider a boat ride! There is complimentary water transportation from Disney Springs to Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside & French Quarter, and your Resort. We love to hop on one of the river boat routes and make a round trip. It is a beautiful and relaxing trip. There are also Vintage Amphicar Tours at Disney Springs that are super fun. You can make a reservation in-person dockside or at The BOATHOUSE BOATIQUE.

Jessica, I hope some of these options work for you! I wish you a magical vacation.
