Hi... Ive visited wdw so many times ive lost count, however i never know how those families/kids are chosen to sit threw (on)those parades. is it a request we can put it? Or is it luck? Or....? Thanks :-D

    Hi Dalida,

It's so nice to correspond with another Disney fan!

There's no way to sign up or request to be part of a WDW parade or other special experience. These families are chosen randomly and you really just have to be in the right place at the right time. And there's no way to predict what that right place or right time might be.

When my oldest daughter was three years old, we were standing near the entrance to Fantasyland, waiting for it to open. With no warning, Minnie Mouse came up and took her hand and pointed to the Dumbo ride, asking us if they could ride together. So my daughter got to ride on Dumbo with Minnie! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that really happened by chance.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that something equally as magical happens to you!
