Hi there, Alyssa!
It's great to hEAR you are planning a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort in November. And it sounds like this will be your first vacation to experience the
magic of the holiday season with Mickey. This is my favorite time to visit because of holiday festivities offered and the beautiful decor that fills the theme parks and Resort hotels. Do you have plans to attend
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party? I highly recommend adding this special ticketed event to your itinerary. You'll be able to get into the holiday spirit by lining Main Street U.S.A. to watch the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and gazing above the twinkling Cinderella Castle to see the sky light up during Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show. There will be holiday sweets galore, including some complimentary holiday-themed treats. There's a lot of magical fun to experience, so I hope you'll be able to
purchase tickets for this festive event.
Alyssa, I've been to the Walt Disney World Resort a few times during early to mid-November and experienced lovely weather. The daytime highs are usually comfortable (70-80 degrees) with chilly mornings and evenings. I always pack clothes I can layer if I plan to be up early for rope drop or out until the parks close. But, with that said, I suggest checking your favorite weather app a few days before you leave because I've found Orlando weather can be unpredictable, especially in the winter months. One December visit we experienced several 80 degree days and two chilly 58 degree days! Luckily I had checked before we left and was prepared for the colder weather. But, that didn't stop me from
shopping for a new Disney sweatshirt!
Thank you for sending in your question, Alyssa! We hope you'll keep us in mind if you need any further help with your plans.
Nancy
