We visited WDW this past May during Memorial Day week and it was very busy and hot. We are planning another trip with our 5 year old and mother in law May 7-May 15 2010 how will the crowds be during this time along with the weather?

Hi, Sara!  I usually find the crowds in early May are much more manageable than earlier in the spring or over the holiday weekend.  You will have missed the spring break crowds by going at this time in May, but it's still early enough that most people have not yet finished school for the summer, and many schools are heading into final exams, so people are less likely to take kids out of school then.

As for the weather, it can be hot and humid in May.  It certainly won't be as bad as the middle of summer, but summer comes early to Orlando, and you'll find May temperatures average in the upper 80s, with overnight lows dipping down to just below 70.  Warm and humid, although not quite as bad earlier in May as it is toward the end of the month.

I hope you have a wonderful time, and I'll ask Tinkerbell for a bit of pixie dust for good weather!
