We have visited WDW often, but for the first time ever we are staying on property this visit (mid Jan)! We'll be at the Beach Club. Is it possible to see any of the nighttime fireworks from our resort or near it (esp. Wishes and Illuminations)? Thanks!

The Wishes fireworks at the Magic Kingdom is quite far away from the Beach Club, so you would not be able to view those from anywhere near your resort. However, Illuminations at Epcot is just steps away from the Beach Club. The sightlines are not great because of trees and position of the buildings, but you should be able to see at least some of the Illuminations fireworks from the sandy beach in front of the Beach Club or from the adjoining boardwalk. Depending on your view, you might even be able to catch a bit of the Illuminations fireworks from your room window (and you will certainly hear the fireworks nightly). But I have a better idea, why not just GO to Illuminations. The Beach Club is so close, you can watch the full show in Epcot and be tucked into your bed 15 minutes later.
