We visited WDW last October 2011 and purchased two 5-day hopper passes. Before we left, a cast member working the front desk at the All Star Movies told us that if we came back to the park within a year, we'd be able to add on more days. True? If so, how?

    Hi David!
Disney has a very clear policy with respect to ticket upgrades and modifications.  When you purchase a ticket to WDW, they expire 14 days after first use.  The only exception to this is no expiration tickets and annual passes.  If you purchased your tickets, but did not use them, you can upgrade them at any time once at the Disney parks.  There is no other means to add days to a park ticket that has been used and/or is expired. Any upgrade that is desired must be done before use of the last entitlement.  Hence if your last park entry occurs on a Friday, you cannot upgrade on a Saturday.  It must be done that Friday.
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
