    We have never visited your resort and have purchased the Disney Dining Plan. Will we HAVE to have reservations for the table service; given the fact that we do not know where we want to eat?

    Hi Teresa!
    Congrats on your first trip to the most magical place on earth! You are going to love Walt Disney World and the cost savings and convenience of the Disney Dining Plan (DDP.) 

    I can understand your dilemma about choosing where to eat when you haven't been to WDW before, but I'm here to help you navigate the options and choose what is best for you and your family. 

    Due to the popularity of Disney's restaraunts, it is frequently impossible to obtain a table if you do not have a reservation. You can begin making your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs) 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Many of the restaraunt do not require a credit card to hold the reservation and the cancellation policy is typically 48 hours, so you can always book several different ADRs and then cancel them if you change your mind about the cuisine or that location. However, out of courtesy to other guests trying to score an ADR, try not to book too many ADRs that you know you will not need.
