Hiya, Lynne!
I’m glad you followed Robin Hood and Little John through the forest and found your way here to planDisney. Hooray! Your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is only a few months away. You’ll be enjoying all the EARidescent excitement of the
50th Anniversary Celebration faster than you can say
oo-de-lally, golly what a day!Don’t you just love
MagicBands? They truly streamline the vacationing experience at
Walt Disney World Resort and offer so many convenient uses. Thankfully,
you should be able to reuse your MagicBands from your 2015 vacation, as long as the batteries have not yet depleted. Even though you aren’t staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel during your trip, Lynne, you will still be able to use your MagicBand to enter the theme parks and water parks and to link your
Disney PhotoPass pictures to your
My Disney Experience account. Of course, you need to make sure your MagicBands are still active ahead of your departure. To do this, click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen in your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, then follow these steps:
- Scroll down and select "My Profile" from the menu options.
- Click on "MagicBands & Cards.”
- Select the box that says "Your MagicBands & Cards."
- Look at the back of the center puck on your MagicBand for the ID number, then find the matching ID number on the list of your MagicBands. If it says "Active" next to the ID number, it is ready to go. If it instead says "Inactive," select "Activate" to restore it to a usable state.
Lynne, did you know you will be at Walt Disney World Resort during the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? Yep, that’s right! While the menus for this tasty annual event have not yet been released, it’s safe to say you will want to pack a healthy appetite to be able to try ALL THE THINGS! Your taste buds will thank you.
Please stop back by
planDisney again if you have further questions, Lynne. May your trip be filled with all the pixie dust your heart can handle!
Tomorrow is just a dream away,
Alyssa
