Have visited before with my 3 kids (6,4,2), but wondered if we were missing out by focusing only on rides & character visits? Hidden Mickey's, best snacks, best spot to watch a parade, fun resorts to visit? Visiting next Friday for a week! Thanks!

    Hi Jamie,

Welcome back to the Moms Panel. I bet you and your family are getting super excited for your upcoming trip! Let's start with Hidden Mickeys. The whole family will enjoy trying to spot them throughout the theme parks. For a comprehensive list, visit hiddenmickeys.org. Touringplans.com offers some great information about parade watching.  Head on over to their site for all of their tips and tricks.

Some of the resorts offer "movies under the stars" which is a great way to end your evening. Check with your front desk for locations and times.  More ideas for traveling with small children can be found on the Walt Disney World website.  A tour designed for kids, Disney's Family Magic Tour, will have you scurrying about the Magic Kingdom on a scavenger hunt looking for clues with a magical surprise at the end.  Or, head over to visit Disney's Art of Animation Resort where the Pixar movies come to life with all of your favorite characters.

There are only four snacks that are deserving on my list of favorites; churros, popcorn, Mickey Bars and Dole Whip. Don't miss 'em.

    Have a great vacation!

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
