    When we visited in January 2007, the tip was included in our meal plan, however, we always left extra. I have heard that it is no longer included and 18% is tacked on. Do they put this on the card you book your room with or should we bring cash?

    The gratuity is no longer included in the dining plan price, that is true.  However, 18% is only automatically applied to parties of 6 or more.  If you have fewer than that in your group, you are free to leave whatever amount you would like.  And of course your hard working wait staff will always appreciate you leaving more!  My husband and I waited tables in college so we know that it really is hard work!

    As for how to pay the gratuity, that is entirely up to you.  The server will be happy to charge the amount you allocate to your room if you'd like to tip that way.  This is what we did, since I don't like to carry cash on vacation, and it worked out fine for us.
