Can you visit the WDW resorts at Christmastime,to see decorations, without staying at the hotel or having a meal there? In the past, we have always had to "check-in" at the guard house and tell them we were dinning at the resort to gain entrance.

    Hey Sarah!

Touring the resorts during the holiday season is a great way to spend an afternoon at Walt Disney World. You are correct that resort parking is only available to resort and dining Guests. However, here are a couple of ways to see the amazing decorations while getting the most bang for your parking bucks:
    • From Ticket & Transportation: Take the resort monorail to view the decorations at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Make sure to spend some time enjoying the treats available for purchase from the life-sized gingerbread house located at the Grand Floridian.
    • If you happen to be visiting Epcot: Exit through the International Gateway (between the United Kingdom and France pavilions). This walking tour will take you to Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Boardwalk area, Disney's Yacht Club and Disney's Beach Club. The showcase of this tour is the life-sized edible carousel in the lobby of the Beach Club.

I hope this helps with your holiday planning. If you have any more questions regarding celebrating the holidays or any other aspects of your Walt Disney World stay please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
