    This is our 1st visit to WDW and we're celebrating our daughter's 3rd bday there in March(actually a few days prior) We're flying in on Allegiant and they only get into Sanford airport. My question is this"Does it make more sense for us to rent a car

    Normally I would say that don't waste the money for a rental that will sit unused in the parking lot. However the cost of transportation from Sanford is higher than from Orlando International, so a rental may make sense, if you can get a deal.

    But here is an alternative suggestion: let a limo service take care of you. Sounds expensive? Well it is, but it may save you money in the long run. Here is how;

    I have used Quicksilver Tours in the past. They charge around $220 (not including tip and tax) round trip from Sanford for a Town Car holding 4. Since that includes a stop at an area grocery store, you can still save money buying groceries, offsetting more expensive resort store prices. Also, because they provide car seats, you don't have to pay the airlines checked baggage charge, saving you around another $50, possibly more.

    So I would work out the math of what is cheaper, and let that help you decide.
