Hiya, Claire, and welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you want to fill your day with magic at
Walt Disney World Resort...I like how you plan! Let's look at admission options for enjoying a water park and theme park on the same day.
Since I don't know what type of admission you have, let's talk about tickets in general. To enter
Magic Kingdom Park, you'll need theme park admission as a one-day or multi-day ticket. Admission to the water parks typically isn't included with
standard theme park tickets or offers, so you'd need to purchase admission to
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park separately.
The exception is if you've added the
Water Park and Sports option or the Park Hopper Plus option to your theme park tickets. Both add-ons give you a certain number of admissions to the water parks, miniature golf, and more. If you purchased one of these options, you could do more than one activity in one day.
For example, the Water Park and Sports option allows you to start your day using one of your water park entitlements. After splashing around there, you can head to Magic Kingdom Park later that same day, assuming you have a valid day left for theme park entry.
One way to check your ticket type is in the My Disney Experience mobile app. Tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile on the Welcome screen and scroll across to find your ticket. If it says "Park Hopper Plus" or "Water Park and Sports," then you should be able to visit a water park and theme park on the same day. You can also call the
Existing Tickets line to confirm your options.
If you enjoy fireworks, I can't recommend the
Seats & Sweets dessert party enough. It's a truly enchanting experience at Magic Kingdom Park. My friends and I indulged in unlimited desserts and sipped champagne while watching the
Happily Ever After fireworks show. Let the wonder take hold! You can
book this Enchanting Extra online up to 60 days in advance.
Claire, I hope you can splash your way to the fireworks on your trip! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
