We want to visit Teppan Edo at Epcot, but our son has a peanut allergy. Are there options for him to eat there?

    Hi Diana,

Teppan Edo is fabulous and has quickly become one of our family's favorite dining locations. My boys love to watch the chefs at work and the food is incredible. We just ate there in October with a family who had a member with a peanut allergy. The chefs at Teppan Edo, and all of Disney World for that matter, do an unbelievable job dealing with food allergies. The chef will come to your table and discuss the allergy and what options are available for your son. If there is concern that his food may be in contact with something on the cooking grill at your table, they will discuss the options for preparing his meal in the kitchen away from those surfaces.

Be sure to advise of the allergy when you make the reservation and you can also contact the restaraunt directly, prior to your arrival. Advise your hostess and waitress of the allergy again and the chef will be happy to discuss this with you in grater detail.

On a side note-the scallops are mouth-watering there! Mmmm!
