    We have a visit scheduled starting May 7th, 2011. Does anyone know why Magic Kingdom closes at 7 that night? We were there in May a few years ago attended the Pirates and Princess party and was just wondering if something like that is happening again.

    Hi, Lori! After a little research, I was able to determine that Friday, April 29, Saturday, April 30, Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7, 2011 are Disney Grad Nites.  Magic Kingdom closes early to the general public on those four evenings to host after-hours parties for high school seniors from around the country. Special entertainment is scheduled for the partygoers.  I know this wasn't what you were hoping for, but at least now you know why it's closing early. Have a magical vacation!
