Are there any must visit restaurant for families? We have 6 kids (1, 8,8,10,10,11 ages). Chef Mickey's in on our list, but the boys (and only girl) are not interested in seeing the Princesses.

Hi, Stacy!  There are so many great dining experiences at Walt Disney World for children of all ages!  Even my now 19 year old loves doing the character meals!

If your guys are at the age where character interaction makes them cringe, you might try some of the fun and unique dining experiences throughout Walt Disney World.  Two great options are at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  The Sci-Fi Dine In puts you in a drive in movie, complete with clips from old movies and commercials like you might have seen back in the day when drive in movies were the place to be.  Another favorite restaurant is the 50's Prime Time Cafe.  My girls crack up every time their "cousin" threatens to tell "Mom" that their father hasn't eaten all of his vegetables.  The setting is just like it might have been back in the 50s in Mom's kitchen.  You'll set your own table here, and you might want to clean your plate before you try to order dessert!

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is also a great deal of fun.  There always seems to be something fun going on during your meal here at this rowdy, family style restaurant.  The Western theme is popular with my nephews, who request dining here every time we travel with them!

I hope this helps in finding some great meal options that everyone in the family will enjoy!  Have a great vacation!
