    If you can only visit 3 parks with an 8-year old grandson, and two of them are of course the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, which would you recommend: Epcot or Animal Kingdom?

    Thanks for your question!

    I totally agree that with an 8-year old the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios are Must Do! parks! So that leaves you choosing between Epcot and the Animal Kingdom. 

    Personally, I do love Epcot. It has such great food, some fantastic attractions for any age, and the World Showcase is such a great experience. But in my mind the easy choice is to go to the Animal Kingdom. 

    Why?

    The animal interaction is phenomenal! Starting with a ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris, kids become enraptured with the up close, real world views they get of the exotic array of animals. I also love the walking trails, and the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trails is one that my daughters always insist on visiting. 

    There are lots of fun things to do as well, including the Festival of the Lion King and It's Tough to be a Bug! shows.
