    I want to visit the parks for 2 days and use my military discount for the tickets because I am a military dependent and I have an active military I.D. and I'm not sure how to apply the discount.

    It is always an honor to assist our heroes and their families with their incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacations. Thank you for that opportunity, and for your service and sacrifice. 

    Disney Military Salute theme park tickets offer your choice of 4, 5, or 6 days of adventure in Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. Cecelia, please keep in mind that these are available for Eligible Service Members, which can be a little confusing. Let me share with you exactly what that means:

    According to the terms of the program in 2024, Eligible Service Members are, "Active or retired members of the US Military, including the National Guard, Reservists, the US Coast Guard, the US Space Force, the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Commissioned Corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Spouses of Military Service Members also qualify if they are able to present valid and active US Military IDs in the absence of active or retired Military Personnel or Commissioned Corps Members." 

    As long as you meet those requirements, you can purchase up to six Disney Military Salute theme park tickets from participating US military sales outlets. These are normally on your closest base or post. Then, once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, pop by to chat with the friendly Cast Members at any Guest Relations location with your Military ID to activate your Disney theme park admission. You only need to do this once. Then you are free to explore! 

    Cecelia, since I want to make sure that you are aware of other ways you could save on your vacation, did you know that Eligible Service Members are also eligible for special pricing on Walt Disney World Resort hotels and on Memory Maker from Disney PhotoPass Service? Currently, you can pre-purchase all of the images captured by the talented Disney PhotoPass photographers and select attractions for only $98! We treasure these pictures, and I think you likely will as well.
