    We are going to visit 8/09. We want to see all 4 parks. I have boys 8, 4, 2. Should we eat in parks to maximize time or go to some of the resort meals too? We looked at Ohana, CP, Akershus, Tusker. Should we go first am or spend EMH and then eat? Thanks

    Jennifer,

    While I don't recommend skipping on some of the resort-based dining experiences, you are smart to dine in the parks if you have a great opportunity. Based on what you listed, here are my suggestions;

    1. Book O'Hana for a dinner experience when you are planning on being in the Magic Kingdom. To monorail to the Polynesian to eat dinner, then monorail back is really simple. To add to the island mystery, take the boat to and from the resort!

    2. Akershus (lunch or breakfast) and Tusker House (especially for breakfast) are both excellent park-based dining experiences, and I recommend them highly.

    3. Cinderella's Royal Table is great for lunch or breakfast. Getting a breakfast table is tougher, but don't think of lunch as a lesser choice.

    If you can get into the parks for a great breakfast, do it. You get an early start on the crowd, can enjoy a relaxed meal, and then get a jump on park fun. Also consider the Hollywood and Vine breakfast at Hollywood Studios. As for resort-based dining that won't take you away from the parks for very long, consider Chef Mickey's and Whispering Canyon Cafe.

    Have a delicious vacation!
