    I will visit MK during after hours event in May but I will only check in at disney resort on the day after the event. May I use the complementary parking for this situation? since I will leave the park at 1 am (of the day of my check in)

    Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you have an extra magical vacation planned with a Disney Resort stay and a Disney After Hours event at Magic Kingdom! I love when Disney After Hours events dates line up with my kid-free vacations, because then I can try my best to stay in the theme park until 1:00 AM. 

    Complimentary standard parking is available for Resort guests for the length of their stay. I know you plan on exiting the theme park on the day of your check-in, but since you are entering the theme park before you check-in, you will need to pay for parking. You can also enjoy complimentary self-parking at your Disney Resort during the length of your stay. 

    Sorry this wasn’t the answer you were hoping for, Carolina. I hope you have an amazing time at the After Hours event. Don’t forget that you can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 7:00 PM with your After Hours ticket. That means you can grab some mini corn dogs from Casey’s Corner and watch Happily Ever After before the event begins at 10:00 PM!
