Visit March 2018; using dining plan for reservation at Hollywood & Vine. Fantasmic Dining package site says, for 2018, one non-alcoholic drink is included, but 2018 dining plan includes an alcoholic drink. If book dining package, lose alcoholic drink?

    Dear Kirsten,

Thank you so much for stopping by to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

While it is true that some alcoholic beverages are included with Table-Service meals in the 2018 Disney Dining Plan, the Fantasmic! Dining Package at Hollywood & Vine is not one of the ones that includes that. It does include a non-alcoholic beverage though. Though it seems confusing, my interpretation is that the extra cost of the dining package basically evens out what the extra cost of the alcoholic beverage would be.

Therefore, you will have to choose which one you would like to do. Honestly, I have seen Fantasmic! many times and I have never had a dining package. As long as you arrive about a half an hour or so before the show, you should have wondEARful seats and it shouldn't be a problem for you. If I was in your situation, I would prefer to choose the alcoholic beverage and then just "wing it" for the Fantasmic! seating. It's a very large outdoor theater with room for many many guests.

    Have a deliciously magical vacation!
