Hey there, hi there, Linda!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney where you're as welcome as can be. I'd be thrilled to assist a fellow Mouseketeer today. Let's talk about kicking off 2025 with a
Walt Disney World adventure!
You must be so excited that your magical vacation is almost here. You'll be visiting as the holiday season wraps up, so the parks and resorts will still have that festive energy as Christmas travelers linger. While Disney theme parks occasionally pause entry due to capacity on the busiest days of the year, this is extremely rare and usually short-lived.
Historically, January 2 and 3 have not seen closures, so I think you'll be fine during your stay, especially since onsite Guests arriving by
Walt Disney World Transportation are unlikely to be impacted by temporary entry restrictions. Be sure you have the most up-to-date version of the
My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone so you don't miss any alerts during your visit.
I hope this is helpful and gives you some peace of mind for your upcoming jolly holiday. I'll leave you with one quick tip before I go. Even the Sunshine State experiences chilly temperatures from time to time. When traveling to Walt Disney World in January, I recommend preparing for various temperatures and dressing in layers. Sometimes, I even
rent a locker in the winter to store warm clothing for the evening.
Thanks again for sending your question to us, Linda. Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can do to make your trip as magical as possible.
Happy holidays,
Betsy
