1st visit. 2kids g5 b7..7day PH..if we r using dining plan and mtg someone who isn't..how does it work. and what time do buses stop running. ..also any restaurants u recommend>TY

Hi, Laurie!  If you are dining with someone who is not on the dining plan, it's no problem for them to pay for their own meal and the credits used for those on the plan.  It happens quite often that this is the case, and you shouldn't encounter much difficulty.

You will find buses typically run for at least an hour after the theme parks close.  Time varies, but rest assured that as long as there are still crowds of people coming out of the theme parks, they will still be running buses to get everyone safely back to their resort.

As for restaurants, you may want to consider a character meal with children this age.  We love Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort and the Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.  My kids also always got a big kick out of Prime Time 50s Cafe, where "Mom" might come out and remind dad not to put his elbows on the table or tell him he has to eat his vegetables before he can have dessert!  You'll find this restaurant - and another kid favorite, the Sci Fi Dine In - at Disney's Hollywood Studio.

    Have a great vacation!
