Welcome, Samantha!
I absolutely adore visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth during the
holiday season. Something about the decorations, special events, treats, and festive offerings make a special vacation even more memorable.
Traditionally, decorations begin to emerge the first week in November and generally are all set up by the end of the first week. While November is a great time to visit, I do find that I am in even more of the holiday spirit after Thanksgiving. Personally, I have found that the first or second week of December tends to have pretty manageable crowds and great weather, so that is our preferred time for a Christmas vacation.
Samantha, you will be blown away by all of the amazing holiday festivities. My absolute favorite is the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. During this fa-la-la-la-festival you can complete a holiday traditions scavenger hunt with Olaf while you sample traditional food and drinks from around the world.
If you are looking for a very special place to stay, nothing feels as Christmas-time to me as
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. The amazing decorations, 5-story-high tree, and roaring fireplaces really make it feel like Christmas morning every single day.
I hope that this gave you a bit of insight, Samantha. Please come back here to planDisney if we can help as you plan your holly jolly holiday!
