Hi, we want to visit Disneyland and California adventure park, I was wondering what Black Friday sales or discounts you will be offering? :)

    Hey there Lisa,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like you're getting started in planning your next trip to the Happiest Place on Earth - how exciting!

From what I've seen, the Disneyland Resort doesn't offer Black Friday-like deals, but instead offers a range of promotions throughout the year on its Special Offers & Discounts page. These promotions typically are available anywhere from a couple of months to a year and are really helpful ways to save on theme park tickets, hotel stays, and more.

Most of the current offers run through December of this year or March of next year, but not through May when you plan to visit. If you still feel like you have some time to hold off before starting to book your vacation, it might be worth waiting to see if any new promotions launch at the end of this year or early next year that you might be able to take advantage of.

I'll note that as a planDisney panelist, I'm a Guest of the Disneyland Resort - just like you - and don't have any kind insider information as to upcoming discounts or promotions, so I'd definitely recommend you take into account your trip details and think about the tradeoffs if you do decide to wait to purchase components of your trip. For example, the longer you wait, the higher the likelihood of there being difficulty finding the exact Disneyland Resort hotel you might want if you have a particular one in mind.

Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer on any potential special offers or discounts, but if you do decide to wait and see if any new promotions become available after the start of the year then I would definitely recommend to book your hotel and purchase your tickets no later than 3-4 months before your visit just to make sure you're able to book the dates that you're hoping for.

Thanks again for your question, Lisa! I hope you have a fun time planning your upcoming vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
