Hi Tracy!
Thanks for visiting planDisney! I'm happy to help answer your question about the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels! We love staying on property at Walt Disney World, as it allows us more time to experience the parks and we feel immersed in the magic from the moment we step through the doors!
Every hotel on Walt Disney World property offers its own unique guest experience. One of our favorites,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, boasts a savannah where guests can view animals roaming and eating, right from their balcony! At
Disney's Boardwalk Inn, guests have the opportunity to walk along a wooden boardwalk and enjoy nighttime entertainment that harkens back to the turn of the century.
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort transports guests to the islands, complete with tropical music, foods, and lush grounds. If you are looking for a more rustic feel,
Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort takes guests on a journey back to the National Parks, with totem poles, a roaring fireplace, and incredible wood architecture. Should you wish to visit these, and more, resorts, you are welcome to board
Disney transportation, either bus, water taxi, monorail, or Disney Skyliner, to spend some time admiring the grounds and common areas. Please note that guests who are not staying at that particular resort, or who do not have a confirmed dining reservation, will not be allowed to park. So it is in your best interest to take one of the myriads of Disney transportation options to check out the resorts on your list.
Disney Transportation Tip: You can check the transportation options for your resort destination on the My Disney Experience App. On the location tab, click the drop-down menu up top, and select 'Resorts'. You can then select 'Get Directions' and the My Disney Experience App will populate directions using Disney Transportation. It is very super convenient and takes the guesswork out of planning directions!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
