I want to visit conservation station in animal kingdom. I don’t want to do the Bluey experience, just see the bugs, animal hospital and the jumping junction. Will I be able to enter the building to see the non Bluey bits?

Hello, Poppy, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy to help you firm up your plans for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World.

With its shady walkways and laid-back vibes, Disney's Animal Kingdom feels like a true oasis. I don't know if it's the "overgrown" vegetation, the lived-in feel, or the well-trod pathways beneath my feet - but stepping inside this beautiful park immediately slows my heart rate.

Poppy, one of my favorite things about Animal Kingdom is checking out the wildlife as I make my way through the park (on my last visit, I spent a good 20 minutes just watching the turtles eat breakfast!). So I am in full support of your goal to stop by the Conservation Station during your visit!

As you already know, Bluey and Bingo have recently arrived at the Conservation Station for Bluey's Wild World. While my kids are BEYOND excited to hang out with the Heelers, they are also SO happy that the Veterinary Treatment Room, the Animal Nutrition Window, and the Reptile, Amphibian, and Invertebrate Windows are all still open for business!

Unsurprisingly, Bluey's Wild World is already wildly popular. So while you can still visit the Conservation Station (and skip Bluey entirely), there are a few things you should know about getting to the Conservation Station.

Just like before Bluey and Bingo arrived, you'll need to take the Wildlife Express Train to reach the Conservation Station. In the past, this was usually pretty easy to do, with little to no line. But since Bluey is such a crowd-pleaser, the process has become just a tad more "trifficult." Now, in order to board the Wildlife Express, you'll need to join the Virtual Queue (no standby line is currently available). You can do this through your My Disney Experience app, and you will have two chances per day to make it happen - once at 7:00 AM and then again at 10:00 AM.

To join the Virtual Queue at 7:00 AM, you'll need valid park admission (and a park reservation, if your ticket type requires it). For this slot, you can request to join the queue remotely from wherever you happen to be (if you're anything like me, that will be your bed). For the 10:00 AM slot, you must be physically present at Animal Kingdom to request to join the queue. Once you've successfully joined the Virtual Queue, you'll be given a Boarding Group, which will be called at some point during the day. Since Bluey's Wild World is such a hot ticket right now, be sure to have your lightning fingers ready at exactly 7:00 AM or 10:00 AM!

I hope this is helpful, Poppy, and that your visit to Disney World is practically perfect in every way! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney.

    Adventure is out there,

    Allison
