Jambo, Claire, and welcome to your very own safari vehicle: planDisney! We love to guide guests through the wilds of their
Walt Disney World Resort adventures, so let's look at the entertainment options you'll have when you don your pith helmet at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.
The Harambe Wildlife Parti had its last hurrah a few years ago, Claire, but as my favorite meerkat says, "Hakuna Matata!" I have some suggestions for creating new magical memories for your young cubs.
My family can't get enough of the Tumble Monkeys at the
Festival of the Lion King. These talented and mischievous acrobats keep us amazed and laughing. Check for showtimes in your My Disney Experience mobile app so you won't miss this classic musical extravaganza.
Another suggestion is to check out the
Tam Tam Drummers of Harambe. I know playing drums isn't the same as playing soccer, but skills are skills! The best part of this street show is that you're invited to join in. Also, look for the
Harambe Village Acrobats. These daredevils incorporate authentic African dance and music into their thrilling show. My tip is to keep your video rolling to capture all the fun!
Finally, you might meet the top meerkat himself at
Conservation Station. Take the Wildlife Express Train to this hidden gem where Timon and Rafiki are thrilled to meet guests and take photos this summer. If your kids tell Timon they love soccer, who knows what that rapscallion might do!
Claire, I'm sorry the entertainment offerings have changed since your last visit. I'm wishing on a star that your children find some new favorites on this trip. Please stop by
planDisney anytime! Kwaheri!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
