Visit is 9/26 -10/1 and have the complentary Dining Plan. I've been trying to make reservations and I am having a very difficult time. Is it possible to get in the resturant without a reservation?

    Hi Christina,

Disney's free dining promotion is a fantastic offer! This will be our third year that we have taken advantage of it too.

Disney's restaurants are quite popular even when the promotion is not going on and you will find that some of them book very quickly. Throw into that mix a large number of guests trying to dine with their free promotion, and I think you can see that space is sometimes at a premium. There is always a chance that space will open up, but it is not something that occurs all the time. You will definitely want to call 407-939-3463 to check on what is still available. Choose from those selections and book your dining reservations. Call back often to see if anything opens up at locations you may not have been able to get. You can always change your existing reservations if a spot opens. Try looking for times earlier or later than the usual dining hours. We have found by being willing to dine much earlier or later than the crowds, there is greater availability. Likewise, if you are a large party, see if there are openings if you are willing to split your party between two tables. The restaurants will attempt to put your tables together but we have had better luck when our party of eight is willing to sit at two tables of four.

If none of these tips work, be sure to stop and ask the hostess at the restaraunt on that day. Typically if the restaraunt was booked, they will not be able to get you in, however there are always last minute cancellations and no shows. No worries though, we have found a number of our favorite Disney restaraunt by accident, when we were not able to get a table at our other choice. Enjoy!
