Hi Jessica, and welcome to planDisney. I’m getting ready for a race myself (the
Springtime Surprise 10-Miler) and am always happy to help a fellow
runDisney enthusiast!
Let’s figure out how to access your bib so you can wear it for your runs. Sign into your account on the
runDisney website (hover over Help & Support and click
Manage Account). Under Your Current Event, look for Love on the Run. If you click on your name, you should see a bib under Event Assets. If you only see the toolkit (mile markers, start/finish signs, and a You Did It sign), keep checking back. Typically it takes some time after registration for the bibs to be ready since everyone has a unique number. If you don’t see your bib in the next week or so,
contact runDisney and a Cast Member will be happy to help.
I don’t know if you saw this yet, but it’s the 10th anniversary of
runDisney’s Virtual Series and they just
announced the themes for this Summer’s event—Disney Park attractions and entertainment! Ride themes are my favorite (I couldn’t resist last year’s Haunted Mansion 10k as part of the
Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend!). The themes for this year’s Virtual Series are Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad… and, for the challenge, Happily Ever After. What a magical lineup!
As you get ready for the
Love on the Run races, don’t miss the
Training Programs on the runDisney website. While the mileage doesn’t exactly match the distances for your races, the 5k and 10k training programs might be helpful as you get ready for the 2, 5, and 7-Milers.
I’m wishing you many pixie-dusted runs this Spring. And remember, every mile is magic! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.
