Ahoy, Ashleigh!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a Disney dilemma so I have the perfect solution for you! Look for a
Halloween on the High Seas sailing out of Port Canaveral that would allow you to visit Magic Kingdom for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party either the night before your cruise or on the day you return. I've been fortunate enough to experience both, and I'd say that it would be an amazing land and sea adventure for your crew! Both the ship and Magic Kingdom will be decked out with BOO-tiful holiday decor and SPOOK-tacular special events and activities will be offered! It will be a vacation you'll never forget!
In the past, the Disney Villains have not been included in the festivities on the ship, but
Character Appearances are always subject to change. When I experienced this cruise a few years ago, it included lots of fun activities like Mickey's Mouse-Querade Party, the story of the Pumpkin Tree, The Nightmare Before Christmas SING and SCREAM, Halloween crafts and treats and Scary-Okee Karaoke! You can dress-up for the party at Magic Kingdom and on the ship so you can plan two costumes or wear the same one, and there is an opportunity to trick-or-treat at both! Also, if you are considering a cruise on the Disney Dream, you'll be able to see your favorite Disney Villains in the Broadway-style show,
Villains Tonight!
Good luck with your plans, Ashleigh! I hope you'll visit again if we can help you with any additional questions.
