Boo to you, Christine.
I’m so glad your Doom Buggy took a detour and brought you here to planDisney today. Having a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the horizon during the spookiest time of year is more fun than a swinging wake, don’t you think?
Nothing’s sure to bring you ghoulish delight quite like the spooktacular fireworks in
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular at
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, so I’m glad to hear they are on the list of must-dos for your trip. Typically, Cast Members start prepping for the evening’s festivities by laying down tape for fireworks and parade viewing areas late In the afternoon. This means you should be able to get a lay of the land well ahead of needing to find a viewing spot for the big show.
There will be viewing areas throughout the area directly in front of Cinderella Castle, as well as all the way down Main Street, U.S.A. The viewing areas will allow for small walkways so Guests can navigate through the crowds, but there is no set map of where the tape will be placed. I encourage you to keep an eye out for the tape as you meander around
Magic Kingdom Park, or stop by one of the
Guest Experience Team locations (marked with the blue umbrellas) to ask where the taped areas will be. As long as you are facing Cinderella Castle, you’ll have a great view of the show.
If you’re looking for frightfully fun Halloween merchandise to purchase ahead of your arrival, be sure to check out
shopDisney. Many of the items from this year’s Halloween lineup that were just released in the parks can also be found on shopDisney at this time.
We’ve got 999 happy questions here at planDisney, but there’s always room for 1,000 if you want to volunteer another one before you set off on your vacation, Christine. Have a spooktacular trip!
Hurry back,
Alyssa
